Calgary, Alberta Newborn Photographer | Carver’s Newborn Session

It was a pleasure to meet and photograph this lovely family and their cute newborn baby boy.

He was sleepy throughout the entire shoot and absolutely perfect in every way.

As always I started with the naked beanbag poses as when we start with wrapped poses it leaves the little pressure marks from the fabric on the baby’s skin which is not very fun to edit out. After that I do the wrapped poses followed by sibling and parent poses.

I had just completed my new flooring for my studio and was chatting up Fallon’s husband, Adam, about my new floor. I was very proud and he was in construction. He was happy to give me tips and advice to help perfect my not so perfect floor haha! I tried!

As a newborn photographer in Calgary, I am always shopping and hunting for new props. For this photoshoot, I used 2 new setups and after the edit, they turned out so beautiful.
