I joined the Professional Photographers of Canada in 2020. I decided to apply for my first accreditation for the February submission. After a long month and a bit of waiting I finally heard that I am officially an Accredited Professional Photographer, Newborn Photography.

To earn an accreditation in your chosen category you must submit a portfolio of ten images that meet the criteria outlined for that category by the PPOC. Then it is put before a panel of esteemed judges who assess Accreditation submissions, the judges will consider the following criteria: Impact, Creativity, Style,
Composition, Presentation, Color Balance, Centre of Interest, Lighting, Subject Matter, Technique and Story Telling.
PPOC’s accreditation process recognizes photographers who have reached a nationally accepted standard of proficiency and knowledge in photographic arts. This peer-reviewed program challenges candidates to demonstrate their capability of delivering exceptional quality photography in a chosen category.
As a specialist in my chosen field or Newborn Photography, I am a PPOC Accredited professional photographer who has the proven experience, knowledge and equipment to provide you with a quality product with my expertise.
