Calgary Cake Smash Photography | DIEGO SMASHES ONE!

Let me introduce you to the sweetest family I’ve had the pleasure to meet.  Michelle messaged me on Instagram with exciting plans for her son Diego’s birthday cake smash.

Michelle had a Woodland theme in mind for “Diego” & wanted photos in studio.  We started the day with some amazing shots of Diego in Khaki pants and a beautiful green garland behind with gold ONE letters showing off his new age!

After our wood plank setup we moved over to a cute jeans outfit and a metal bed with more woodland themed items.

Then it was time to SMASH the cake! He had no problem smashing the cake either! These sessions are called baby smash cake for a reason. T here was literally cake flying everywhere! We all had a good laugh at his technique~

We ended the celebration with a soothing bubble bath. Well maybe not so soothing as Diego had a different plan, he was NOT done splashing around! There was water flying everywhere and lots of BIG smiles!  I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed working with these lovely people & I hope to watch Diego grow in the years to come.
